HGV Class 1 Driver – Avonmouth / Severn Beach

24-7 Recruitment Services, acting as an Employment Business, are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers on behalf of our client in Avonmouth, Severn Beach.

This is a long-term, ongoing opportunity with one of the UK’s leading companies.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 months’ Class 1 driving experience – essential
• Valid Class 1 / C+E licence
• Maximum 6 points on licence
• No DD, DR, TT or IN endorsements
• Valid Tacho and CPC cards
• Flexibility to work on different contracts, including store deliveries, trunking and collections
• Successful completion of an assessment and 3-day induction
• Induction is paid

Shift Patterns:

• Any 5 out of 7
• 4 on / 4 off
• 5 on / 2 off
• Sunday to Thursday
• Tuesday to Saturday
• Weekends only

Shift Times:

• Days: start times between 03:00–08:00
• Nights: start times between 17:00–21:00

Pay – PAYE Dynamic Rates:

• Weekdays: £19.23 per hour
• Weekends: £24.04 per hour
• Night rate (21:00–02:59): £21.54 per hour
• 8 hours guaranteed per day
