Class 2 Tipper Driver

Connect Driver Solutions is recruiting Class 2 Tipper Drivers for a new client based in Hamilton, South Lanarkshire – new passes welcome, with immediate starts available.

Our client runs a straightforward Monday to Friday route – up to the north of Inverness, loading, then a single drop in Airdrie on the way back. Tramping roles are also available if you’d rather go away Monday and return Friday.

What’s on offer?

• Temporary to permanent opportunity
• Monday to Friday, 6am starts
• £17.37 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay)
• £26.20 overnight allowance

Please Note: This role requires a short driving assessment, including a test on drivers hours and Working Time Directive; plus a drug test.

To be considered as a Class 2 Tipper Driver, you will need:

• A valid Class 2 (Category C) licence – new passes welcome
• A valid CPC and Digital Tachograph cards
• No more than 6 points on your licence, with no DR, DD, DG, CD, IN or TT endorsement codes
