The Role
Resolve Recruitment Services are currently recruiting for 2 x 7.5T / HGV Class 2 EOLT Drivers to join our client's operation in Plymouth.
The successful candidates will be responsible for the collection of end-of-life tyres (EOLT) across the local area.
This is a physically demanding role, with heavy lifting involved, so applicants must be comfortable with manual handling and working in a hands-on environment.
Hours & Pay
- Standard 7.5T Driver
- 40-hour contract
- 05:00 start until finish
- £15.21 per hour
- Overtime: £20.23 per hour
- Saturday rate: £22.82 per hour
- Approximate annual salary: £31,723.80 before overtime
EOLT Driver
- 40-hour contract
- 05:00 start until finish
- £16.21 per hour
- Overtime: £21.56 per hour
- Saturday rate: £24.32 per hour
- Approximate annual salary: £33,809.52 before overtime
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out collections of end-of-life tyres
- Driving a 7.5T vehicle safely and responsibly
- Loading and unloading tyres
- Carrying out manual handling and heavy lifting
- Completing vehicle and collection checks as required
- Providing a professional and reliable service to customers
- Following all relevant health and safety procedures
About You
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold the relevant 7.5T / HGV driving licence
- Have previous commercial driving experience
- Be physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting
- Have a good understanding of road safety and vehicle checks
- Be reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Have a professional attitude and good customer service skills
- Be comfortable with early morning starts
