We are currently seeking an experienced Planning Manager to join a major infrastructure programme, supporting the successful delivery of complex, high-value projects.

This is an excellent opportunity for a planning professional with strong programme controls expertise, extensive scheduling experience, and the ability to work across multiple projects within a fast-paced project environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, manage, and maintain complex project and programme schedules.
  • Analyse programme performance and identify critical path risks, issues, and mitigation strategies.
  • Produce planning reports, dashboards, and progress updates for senior stakeholders.
  • Lead planning workshops and collaborate with project teams to establish robust delivery plans.
  • Support project controls activities and promote planning best practice.
  • Review contractor schedules and provide programme-related analysis.
  • Mentor and support planning resources across the programme.
  • Drive continuous improvement in planning methodologies, reporting, and governance.

Essential Experience

  • Proven experience as a Planning Manager or Senior Planner on large-scale infrastructure, engineering, or construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of project controls and programme management principles.
  • Extensive experience using Primavera P6.
  • Ability to develop and analyse critical path schedules.
  • Experience working within NEC contract environments.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Experience producing programme reports and performance analysis for senior leadership.
