Driver / Inspector

As a Shunter / Inspector, you will be responsible for the safe, efficient movement of vehicles valued in excess of £60,000 across the site. This is a hands-on, safety‑critical role that requires precision, awareness, and a strong sense of responsibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Vehicle movement — Safely manoeuvre high-value vehicles around the yard, workshop, and storage areas.
• Safety compliance — Follow all site safety protocols, traffic flow rules, and vehicle handling procedures.
• Coordination — Work closely with workshop, logistics, and yard teams to ensure smooth operational flow.
• Vehicle checks — Conduct basic pre‑movement inspections to ensure vehicles are safe to manoeuvre.

Requirements

• Manual UK driving licence (essential).
• Experience in vehicle shunting or yard operations preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong spatial awareness and confidence handling high‑value vehicles.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a fast-paced team.
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused.
