HGV Class 2 Driver

Our client a respected logistics company, is recruiting experienced drivers for multidrop curtainside deliveries across the Reading, Swindon, and Slough areas. This is an exciting opportunity to join a busy operation with immediate starts available!

Pay & Shifts:

• £16.50 – £17.50 per hour (Up to £45,500 per annum)
• Monday to Friday
• 07:00am – 17:00pm
• 8 hours minimum (Average of 10 hours per day)

Key responsibilities:

• Safely operate HGV Class 2 vehicles on multidrop curtainside deliveries
• Efficiently manage loading and unloading pallets using tail lifts
• Complete 2-3 delivery runs per shift, ensuring on-time delivery and customer satisfaction
• Perform daily vehicle checks and report any issues promptly
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation and communicate with the transport team
• Strictly adhere to health and safety and driving regulations

What we’re looking for:

• Valid HGV Class 2 licence with Driver CPC
• Proven experience with multidrop curtainside deliveries, pallets, and tail lift operation
• Good knowledge of Reading, Swindon, and Slough areas preferred
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to safety and customer service
