HGV Class 1 Driver – Night Shift

Our client, a respected logistics company, is urgently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 drivers for night shift multidrop curtainside deliveries across the Reading, Swindon, and Slough areas. This is an exciting opportunity to join a busy, professional operation with immediate starts available!

Key responsibilities:

• Safely operate HGV Class 1 vehicles on multidrop curtainside deliveries during night shifts
• Efficiently load and unload pallets using tail lifts, ensuring careful handling of goods
• Complete 2-3 delivery runs per shift, maintaining punctuality and high standards of customer service
• Conduct daily vehicle safety checks and report any maintenance issues promptly
• Keep accurate delivery documentation and communicate effectively with the transport team
• Adhere strictly to all health and safety, driving regulations, and company policies

What we’re looking for:

• Valid HGV Class 1 licence with current Driver CPC
• Proven experience with multidrop curtainside deliveries, pallet handling, and tail lift operation
• Good knowledge of the Reading, Swindon, and Slough areas is advantageous
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused with excellent customer service skills
