7.5 Tonne Driver

Industrial Temps are working in partnership with Royal Mail, the UK's designated Universal Postal Service Provider, to recruit experienced 7.5T (Class C1) Drivers to work from their Mail Centre in Mallusk, Newtownabbey.

We're looking for reliable, professional drivers to join the team, delivering and collecting mail and parcels between Royal Mail sites and mail centres.

This is an excellent opportunity to secure ongoing temporary work with competitive hourly rates, enhanced Sunday pay and accrued holiday pay!

Pay Rates:

•     Monday–Saturday: £17.02–£19.98 Per Hour

•     Sundays: £24.03–£26.99 Per Hour

Pay varies depending on your shift pattern, with higher rates available for late, night and Sunday shifts.

Shift Patterns:

A combination of early starts and night shifts is available. Start and finish times vary depending on the shift.

Flexibility is essential, as you may be required to work a combination of early and night shifts.

Job Type: Full Time, Temporary Ongoing

Essential Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must have:

•     A valid 7.5T (Class C1) driving licence held for a minimum of 12 months

•     At least 12 months' relevant driving experience

•     A valid Driver Qualification Card (DQC)

•     A valid digital Tachograph (Tacho) card

•     No more than 6 penalty points on your driving licence

•     A professional attitude and a flexible, can-do approach

•     Availability to work a combination of early and night shifts

Please note: Due to the nature of Royal Mail's business, candidates must successfully complete a DBS security check, site assessment and induction before commencing their first shift.
