Royal Mail Delivery Driver

Industrial Temps are delighted to be supporting Royal Mail in recruiting multi-drop Delivery Drivers in Antrim

Pay rate: £16.24 Per Hour

​

Job type: Full Time, Temporary Ongoing (could be opportunities for Permanent contracts)

​

Working hours:

Monday to Sunday. 5 days across 7 seven with 2 non consecutive days off

7am / 8am start until finish ( around 4pm / 5pm )

​

Essential Criteria :

- Valid UK driving license with a maximum of 6 points

- Excellent time management and organisational skills.

- Strong communication and customer service abilities.

- A commitment to safe and responsible driving practices.

- Working outdoors in all weathers is required

​

Job Duties:

- You'll start your day in the local delivery office sorting and collecting post/parcels to be delivered.

- You'll be given a hand-held device to capture customer signatures for deliveries. The hand-held will also act as your routing system, telling you where to go to next.

- The role will be physically demanding, where you'll be walking at least 20,000 steps per day. You will also be required to carry a bag that can weigh up to 16kg, delivering letters and parcels, with parcels weighing up to 20kg.

- Driving and on foot delivery will be required, and you will be required to push/pull a trolley during deliveries.
