HGV Class 1 Driver – Store Delivery (Heavy Work)

Area WA3 area of Warrington

Pay £225 per shift (PAYE incl. holiday pay)

Shift 4 on 4 off starting at 1400 until 0200

PLEASE READ – This is NOT a trunking job. This role involves heavy physical work, manual unloading and responsibility for store access. If you are looking for an easy driving job – this is not it.

Job Description

Driving Class 1 (C+E) vehicles (box & curtain-sided trailers)

Store deliveries across the UK

Manual unloading (approx. 60% of the job)

Moving and handling heavy cages

Opening stores (keys, alarms, access)

Completing vehicle checks and following driver hours regulations

What the Job Involves

Physically demanding work every shift

Early starts / night work

Working independently at delivery points

Tight delivery schedules

Regular lifting, pushing, and manoeuvring loaded cages

Requirements

Valid Class 1 (C+E) Licence

CPC & Digital Tachograph Card

Minimum 6 months Class 1 experience

No more than 6 penalty points (minor only)

Ideal Candidate

Physically fit and prepared for heavy work

Reliable and able to work independently

Comfortable with night shifts and store deliveries

Not afraid of graft
