HGV Class 1 Day Driver – Warrington

We are recruiting for HGV Class 1 Day Drivers to join our client’s team at their Warrington site. They offer training and development opportunities to help you enhance your skills and progress in your career.

Salary: £16.40 per hour

About the Role

As an HGV Class 1 Day Driver, your responsibilities will include:

• Completing daily vehicle checks to ensure your vehicle is roadworthy and safe
• Arriving at your job on time and communicating any delays to the traffic office
• Following company, customer, and Highway Code procedures
• Maintaining health and safety standards
• Completing all deliveries and collections as per the manifest
• Complying with EU tachograph and WTD regulations
• Keeping your vehicle clean and tidy

Requirements

• Full LGV C+E (Class 1) Licence
• Minimum 2 years’ Class 1 driving experience
• Valid Driver Qualification Card (DQC)/Driver CPC
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Good communication skills
