HGV Class 2 Vacuum Tanker Drivers

Streamline Recruitment are proud to partner with a leading environmental waste management company based in Epping, Essex.Our client operates a fleet of brand-new, modern LGV1&2 vehicles equipped with fridges, cruise control with new vehicles being added constantly. Recognised as an industry leader, they hold certifications including ISO9001, 14001 & 45001, as well as FORS Silver, Alcumus SafeContractor, CHAS & Constructionline.This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing, forward-thinking company with real prospects for development.The Role:Deliver non-potable water & collect sewerage across the regionOperate modern Euro 6 vehicles using GB Domestic hours logbooksUse tablets to log vehicle checks, receive work tickets, record defects & report issuesInitial duties will focus on sludge jobs & overpumping (training provided)Guaranteed 10-hour shifts (with opportunity for extra hours, nights & weekends)Full training provided, with potential to gain role-specific courses such as jetting, confined spaces, traffic managementPotential progression into a permanent roleWhat We’re Offering:£19.00 per hour (Ltd or Umbrella, IR35 exempt)Guaranteed 10 hours pay per shiftOngoing, full-time opportunities with flexible start timesConsistent work with the potential for emergency overtime (excellent earning potential)Modern, well-maintained fleet of vehiclesSupportive, safety-focused employer with industry recognitionEssential Requirements:Full LGV 2 (Category C) licence with at least 6 months’ experienceIn-date CPC Card & Digital Tachograph CardMaximum 6 penalty points on licenceGood knowledge of Drivers’ Hours (Domestic & EU) & Working Time Directive regulationsConfident using technology (tablet-based reporting & scheduling)Physically fit (lifting pipes & equipment required)Professional, polite & able to communicate effectively with clients & the publicFlexible approach – work may vary throughout the dayIdeally You Will:Have previous vacuum tanker experience (wastewater industry preferred)Be willing & able to work longer hours when required (all paid)Why Join?This role offers not only excellent pay but also the chance to develop within a highly respected business.
