This role offers long-term stability, full training, and a real opportunity to build a career in the environmental services industry.The Role:Operating Class 2 vacuum tankers to deliver non-potable water and collect sewerage across the regionWorking flexibly across day and night shifts depending on workload and operational needsUsing GB Domestic hours logbooks and tablet-based systems to record vehicle checks, work tickets, and reportsSupporting sludge and overpumping operations (full training provided)Working safely and professionally on client and public sitesTemp to Perm opportunity following a successful probation periodShift Pattern:Flexible working across days and nights on a 4 on 4 off rotaGuaranteed 10 hours’ pay per shiftOvertime available for additional earning potentialWhat We’re Offering:£19.00 per hour (Ltd or Umbrella, IR35 exempt)Guaranteed minimum 10 hours’ pay per shiftExcellent earning potential with additional hours and emergency overtimeModern, well-maintained fleet of Class 2 vacuum tankersFull training and progression into specialist qualifications (jetting, confined spaces, traffic management)Long-term stability with a clear path to a permanent positionSupportive, safety-first working environmentEssential Requirements:Full Class 2 (Category C) licence with at least 6 months’ driving experienceValid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph CardMaximum of 6 penalty points (no major endorsements)Good understanding of Drivers’ Hours (Domestic & EU) and Working Time DirectivePhysically fit – the role involves manual handling of hoses and tanker equipmentConfident using tablets or other digital reporting systemsProfessional, polite, and reliable with strong communication skillsWilling and able to work both day and night shiftsIdeally You Will:Have previous experience with vacuum tankers or wastewater/environmental operationsBe open to occasional overtime and emergency callouts when requiredWhy Join?This is a fantastic opportunity for drivers seeking flexible, well-paid work with long-term prospects.
