HGV1 Shunter

Streamline Recruitment is searching for HGV1 (C+E) drivers to cover SHUNTING work on behalf of our customer based in Stanford-Le-Hope, Essex.General details & requirements:Shifts will start between 15:00-23:00 and will be 8-10 hours in duration.Shifts will be Monday to Friday.Drivers will be using a TUG vehicle, so previous TUG experience is beneficial but training can be provided if required.Drivers will be shunting both trailers and boxes – again full training will be provided.You must be 25 years of age or older for insurance purposes.You will be required to pass an assessment.We will need to provide our customer with a 5 year work history.Candidates must have the following documents:UK C+E licence – ideally with 1 year of practical experience but new drivers are also welcome to apply.UK Digital tachograph cardUK CPC cardPayment information:Please note this position is PAYE only:Monday to Sunday, first 8 hours - £21.40Overtime after 8 hours - £26.476th Day - £31.53Night Shift allowance - extra £11.76 per shiftMinimum 8 hours guaranteedBreaks will not be deducted from any shunting shiftsWeekly payments every FridayIf you’re interested in this position or would like any further information please apply online or feel free to give us a call on (phone number removed).
