Shifts: Days & Nights Available
OTE: £46,800 - £50,400 per annum + £3,600 per annum Night Out Allowance
Resolve Recruitment Services are currently recruiting for experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers on behalf of our client based in Wigan. This is an excellent temp-to-perm opportunity offering long-term stability, competitive earnings, and the chance to join a professional and growing transport operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate Curtainside Trailers and Containers safely and efficiently
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods to customers
- Complete pre-use and post-use vehicle inspections
- Maintain accurate delivery and vehicle records
- Adhere to all road transport legislation and company safety procedures
- Deliver excellent customer service at all times
- Communicate effectively with transport planners and operational teams
- Assist with loading and unloading when required
- Follow all company policies and procedures
Requirements
- Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Minimum 2 years' Class 1 driving experience
- Previous experience with general haulage and container work preferred
- Strong knowledge of UK driving regulations and road safety requirements
- Excellent driving skills with a professional attitude
- Maximum of 3 penalty points on licence
- Ability to work days, nights, and tramping shifts where required
- Good communication and customer service skills
