Connect Appointments is recruiting an HGV Driver/Technician to join a well-established industrial business based in Kirkcaldy.Our client operates a busy fleet within a heavy industrial environment, offering a structured career pathway to become a DAF certified HGV Technician - with pay increases and progression to back shift and call-out work for the right candidate.What's on offer?Full-time permanent positionMonday to Thursday, 7am to 3:30pm and Friday, 7am to 2:30pm35,000 per annum based on experienceOvertime available at time and a half up to 10.5 hours and double time beyond thatClear career progression to DAF certified HGV TechnicianAs an HGV Driver/Technician, your duties will include:Driving HGV vehicles as required within the business operationCarrying out basic vehicle checks including tyre pressure, oil levels and wiper conditionSupporting the maintenance team with general vehicle upkeepMaintaining accurate records and adhering to all safety standardsTo be considered as an HGV Driver/Technician, you will need:A valid Class 1 (C+E) licenceSome mechanical knowledge or semi-skilled technician experienceA willingness to develop and train towards full HGV technician certificationA reliable, professional approach to workInterested in this HGV Driver Technician role?
