HGV Class 1 Driver

Connect Driver Solutions is recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers for ongoing work with a new client based in LivingstonOur client runs a busy supermarket distribution operation with two daily runs, typically making two deliveries per run, varying by route and area. The work involves palletised and cage deliveries, with goods loaded and unloaded using tail lifts and loading bays.What's on offer?Ongoing position with the opportunity for permanent employment5 shifts per week on a rotating rota - Monday to SaturdayShifts start from 3am (minimum 10-hour shifts)17 per hour + shift allowance (1.80 to 2.71 for days & 3.36 for nights)Overtime available at 24.28 per hourTo be considered as an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will need:A valid Class 1 (C+E) licenceA minimum of 6 months Class 1 driving experienceValid CPC and Digital Tachograph cardsNo more than 6 points on your licence, with no DR, DD, DG, CD, IN or TT endorsementsA 4-hour paid assessment and induction is required before starting, which includes a driving assessment, site induction, drug and alcohol test.Interested in this HGV Class 1 Driver role?
