HGV Driver

Connect Appointments is recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers for ongoing temporary work with our Manchester-based client.

Our client is a well-established logistics business offering a variety of driving work to suit different preferences and schedules.

What’s on offer?

• Ongoing temporary position
• Monday to Friday, averaging 8 to 12 hours per shift
• Paid weekly at £17.93 to £22.41 per hour (holidays pay included)

As an HGV Class 1 Driver, your work will include:

• Completing trunking runs depot to depot across the region
• Carrying out multidrop local deliveries and collections
• Completing all paperwork and delivery documentation accurately
• Adhering to driving hours regulations and road safety requirements

The successful HGV Class 1 Driver will have:

• A valid Class 1 (C+E) licence with a minimum of one year’s HGV driving experience
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• No more than 6 points on your licence
• No DR, DD, DG, IN or TT endorsements
