Material Handler Driver – Ipswich
Location: Ipswich
Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00–17:00 (overtime as needed)
Start Date: Immediate Join a Leading Warehouse & Transport Team in Ipswich! Are you an experienced material handler or driver looking to join a dynamic logistics business with modern facilities and a strong commitment to safety and customer satisfaction? We’re looking for a skilled Material Handler Driver to support smooth daily operations and help us deliver reliable logistics solutions. What You’ll Do:

• Safely load and unload materials using Material Handling Equipment (MHE)
• Pick and pack orders, ensuring accuracy and quality
• Transport goods and complete Proof of Delivery (POD) documentation
• Carry out vehicle and equipment checks, reporting any defects promptly
• Update Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and perform cycle counts
• Follow health & safety procedures and maintain a clean, organised workspace (5S)
• Work as part of a team to meet dispatch deadlines

What You’ll Need:

• GCSEs or equivalent education
• Experience driving Material Handler Machines (MHE)
• Counterbalance/Reach FLT licence and a clean driving licence
• Confident using WMS, handheld scanners, and basic IT/data entry
• Strong understanding of health & safety, load security, and manual handling best practices
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team
• Physically fit for safe lifting and comfortable working on your feet
• Great communication and teamwork skills
• Bonus: ADR awareness, COSHH, lean/5S, or multi-drop experience
