7.5 Tonne Driver

Industrial Temps are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of W&G Baird for an experienced 7.5 Tonne Driver to join their Dispatch team in Antrim.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe, timely, and efficient delivery of goods while maintaining high standards of customer service and compliance.

Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm

Hours Per Week: 37.5

Job Type: Full Time, Temporary to Permanent

Pay Rate: £14 per hour

Job Duties:

•Operate a 7.5 tonne vehicle for goods transportation

•Safely load and unload goods, ensuring compliance with weight and safety regulations

•Carry out daily vehicle checks (pre- and post-trip inspections)

•Maintain accurate delivery records, including mileage and fuel usage

•Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding deliveries

•Follow all road traffic laws and company policies

•Provide excellent customer service during deliveries

•Use a pallet truck to move goods when required

Essential Criteria:

•Previous experience as an 7.5 tonne driver

•Valid UK driving licence with 7.5 tonne entitlement

•Valid Tachograph Card

•Strong awareness of road safety and compliance

•Good knowledge of Northern Ireland road network

•Ability to move palletised goods using a pallet truck

•Strong attention to detail and organisational skills

•Reliable, enthusiastic, and willing to learn
