HGV class 2 Driver

BSNI have an excellent opportunity for our distribution client based in Newry for a HGV Class 2 driver

Hours: 5.30am/ 6am start – finish (9hrs)

Rate of pay: £16 – £18

This is a temp role for over the summer period

Duties

Safely operate a flatbed HGV Class 2 lorry to transport goods to designated locations.
Ensure timely collection and delivery of products, adhering to scheduled routes and deadlines.
Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after journeys, reporting any maintenance issues promptly.
Secure cargo properly to prevent movement or damage during transit.
Complete accurate delivery documentation and obtain necessary signatures upon delivery.
Follow all relevant road safety laws and company policies during operations.
Assist with loading and unloading when required, ensuring proper handling of goods.
Maintain a clean and organised vehicle, adhering to health and safety standards at all times.
Candidate requirements:

HGV Class 2 experience
Valid CPC and Digi Tacho card
Ability for performing heavy lifting and manual handling
