HGV Class 2 Tipper Drivers

PREMIER PLACEMENT SERVICES ARE RECRUITING FOR A NUMBER CLASS 2 TIPPER DRIVERS FOR OUR CLIENT IN STOKE-ON-TRENT.

                                                                                                                                                MONDAY TO FRIDAY DAY WORK.                                                                                                                                                  

                                                                                                                                                IMMEDIATE START AND ONGOING WORK.   

Premier Placement Services are hiring HGV Class 2 Tipper drivers for their prestigious client based in the Stoke area. These are potential temp to perm positions for the right driver with a contract offered after 12 weeks, paying from £15.00ph PLUS holidays are accrued on top.

Role and Responsibilities

• Driving a Tipper Vehicle 
• Little if any hand ball on the roles.  
• Transport materials to designated clients in a safe and timely manner.
• Conduct vehicle inspections before and after each trip.
• Comply with all traffic laws and regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of driving hours and working time directive (WTD).
• Report any incidents or accidents to the client.
• Keep accurate records of deliveries and collections
• Provide excellent customer service.

Requirements:

• HGV Class 2 licence.
• Valid CPC and Tacho card.
• Ability to work independently.
• Good time management skills.
• Effective communication skills.
• Maximum of 6 penalty points. No DR or DD Offences.
• Previous Tipper experience in a similar role would be preferred but not essential.

Working Hours and Pay:

• Monday to Friday.
• Day shifts.
• £15.00- £20 per hour.
• Holiday pay on top of hourly rate.
