Class 2 Driver

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 2 (Category C) Driver to join our clients team based in Batley.

• £15.13 per hour (PAYE)
• Monday to Friday work – no weekends

This is a full-time, ongoing position working Monday to Friday with early starts from 3:45am. The role involves multi-drop collections and deliveries, including significant manual handling.

This position would suit a reliable and hardworking driver who is comfortable with physical work and early morning starts.

Key Responsibilities

• Driving a Class 2 vehicle safely and professionally
• Collecting and loading stock from shops onto the wagon
• Completing deliveries in line with company schedules
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks
• Ensuring all paperwork and PODs are completed accurately
• Providing excellent customer service at delivery points
• Complying with all driving and working time regulations

Requirements

✅ Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
✅ Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
✅ Comfortable with heavy manual handling / handball
✅ Reliable and punctual (early starts essential)
✅ Good understanding of UK driving laws and regulations

Previous multi-drop experience is preferred but not essential.
