Class 1 HGV Afternoon Driver

Top rate paid. Immediate Inductions The duties within this Class 1 role include • Completing temperature controlled deliveries • Sealing and unsealing back doors • Monitoring the refrigeration unit • Reporting temperature issues to the depot • Trunking to RDC or NDC, no multi drop • Coupling and uncoupling trailers • Supervising unloading / loading (no Manual Handling) • Maintaining delivery records Start times are between 1100 & 1500 each day. Shift lengths are approximately 10 hours.

What you'll need

The ideal candidate for this role will need: - A full UK Drivers Licence with a C+E entitlement. - A minimum of 12 months continuous experience driving articulated lorries in the UK - a Digital Tacho Card (Digicard) - a valid Driver CPC Card - a strong and coherent understanding of driver’s working hours and working time directive. You must not have anymore than 6 points on your licence.
