Class 2 Driver with HIAB

We are looking for a reliable and experienced Class 2 HGV Driver with a valid HIAB licence to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of goods to customers using HIAB-equipped vehicles. This role requires excellent driving skills, strong commitment to health and safety and a customer-faced approach. Key Responsibilities Safely operate a Class 2 (Category C) HGV vehicle fitted with a HIAB crane. Deliver and collect goods to and from customer sites in accordance with delivery schedules. Load and unload materials safely using the HIAB crane, following all operating procedures. Carry out daily vehicle and equipment checks, reporting any defects promptly. Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately with the appropriate documentation. Secure loads in accordance with legal and company requirements. Maintain compliance with all DVSA regulations, drivers' hours, tachograph legislation, and Working Time Directive requirements. Provide excellent customer service, acting professionally at all times. Keep vehicles clean, roadworthy, and well-maintained. Adhere to company health and safety policies and procedures. Assist with other warehouse or yard duties when required. Essential Requirements Full UK Class 2 (Category C) driving licence. Valid Driver CPC qualification. Valid Digital Tachograph Driver Card. Valid HIAB Certificate Good knowledge of drivers' hours regulations and road transport legislation. Strong awareness of health and safety practices. Good communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
