Are you an experienced Class 2 Driver looking for a permanent opportunity with a leading distribution business? Our client is looking for a reliable and customer-focused Class 2 Driver to join their transport team based in Blackburn.

Working Hours

• 46 hours per week

• Predominantly Monday to Friday

• Flexibility required to work 5 days out of 7

• Start times from 5:00am onwards

The Role

As a Class 2 Driver, you'll be responsible for delivering products safely and efficiently to customers while providing outstanding customer service. This is a physically demanding role involving manual handling and working closely with Driver's Mates and warehouse teams.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Driving Class 2 vehicles to complete scheduled deliveries.

• Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks before each shift.

• Loading and unloading stock safely and efficiently.

• Delivering excellent customer service at every customer site.

• Using your local area knowledge to ensure timely and efficient deliveries.

• Adhering to all health and safety procedures and driving legislation.

What We're Looking For

To be considered for this role, you'll need:

• A valid Class 2 (Category C) Driving Licence.

• A valid Driver CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Card.

• Previous Class 2 dray delivery experience is desirable.

• Good knowledge of the Highway Code and current driving regulations.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

• A positive attitude and willingness to carry out manual handling duties.
