Are you an experienced Class 2 Driver looking for a permanent opportunity with a well-established distribution business? Our client is seeking a reliable and customer-focused Class 2 Driver to join their transport team based in West Thurrock.

Working Hours

• 48 hours per week
• Start times between 04:15am and 06:00am
• Flexibility required to meet business needs

The Role

As a Class 2 Driver, you'll be responsible for delivering products safely and efficiently to customers while providing excellent customer service throughout the day. This is a physically demanding role involving regular manual handling.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Driving Class 2 vehicles to complete multi-drop deliveries.
• Carrying out vehicle safety checks before each shift.
• Loading and unloading stock with the support of Driver's Mates where required.
• Delivering excellent customer service at every delivery point.
• Planning routes efficiently and ensuring deliveries are completed safely and on time.
• Following all company health and safety procedures and driver legislation.

What We're Looking For

To be considered for this role, you'll need:

• A valid Class 2 (Category C) Driving Licence.
• A valid Driver CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Card.
• A minimum of 2 years' Class 2 driving experience (applications with less experience may be considered on a case-by-case basis).
• Good knowledge of the Highway Code and driver legislation.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• A positive attitude and willingness to carry out manual handling duties.
