HGV Class 2 Driver

We have an exciting opportunity to work for the local council. Pay rates from £16.25 per hour. The role of Class Two HGV Driver is based in Colchester, Essex.

You will need a full UK driving licence with Cat C entitlement, CPC and Tachocard to apply. For insurance reasons, our client is looking for someone with no more than 6 points.

Shifts for Class Two HGV Driver:

• 06:30 to finish, usually before 16:30
• Tuesday to Friday

Pay:

• £16.25 per hour
• Guaranteed 9.5 hours per day even when finishing early
• Overtime pay for any Saturday work
• Paid weekly

Main Duties of Class Two HGV Driver:

• Safe and responsible driving of a dustcart in residential areas
• Daily pre-vehicle checks
• Working with a team of loaders to collect household waste
• No multi-drop
• Local routes only
