Job description
As an HGV Class 1 Curtain Sider Driver, you will be completing general haulage deliveries and collections. This is a straightforward driving role with well-planned routes and minimal hassle, ideal for experienced Class 1 drivers.

 

Key responsibilities include:

• Operating a Class 1 curtain sider vehicle
• Completing general haulage deliveries and collections
• Securing loads safely using curtain side procedures
• Carrying out vehicle checks and compliance duties
• Managing delivery paperwork and schedules
• Maintaining high standards of professional driving and customer service

Requirements:

• Valid HGV Class 1 Licence (C+E)
• CPC (Driver Certificate of Professional Competence)
• Digital Tachograph Card
• Minimum 12 months HGV Class 1 Driving Experience 
• Minimum 12 months tramping experience 
• Previous curtain sider / general haulage experience preferred
• Knowledge of load securing and safe driving practices
• Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
