Location: Greece, Athens

We are seeking an experienced Technical Superintendent to oversee the technical management of assigned vessels within a growing fleet.

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and managing dry dockings, repairs, and maintenance activities while ensuring vessels remain compliant with Class, Flag State, statutory, and company requirements. This role requires close coordination with shipyards, suppliers, manufacturers, and service providers, as well as monitoring vessel performance, maintenance schedules, and technical budgets.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the technical management of assigned vessels.
• Plan, supervise, and manage dry dockings, repairs, and maintenance projects.
• Coordinate effectively with shipyards, makers, suppliers, and service providers.
• Ensure compliance with Class, Flag State, statutory, and internal requirements.
• Monitor vessel performance, maintenance planning, and technical expenditure.
• Conduct vessel visits and travel internationally as required.

Requirements

• Former seagoing Engineer, preferably with tanker vessel experience.
• Chief Engineer experience is highly desirable.
• Minimum 5 years' experience managing dry docking projects.
• Previous experience as a Technical Superintendent or in a similar shore-based technical role.
• Strong understanding of vessel maintenance, repairs, and regulatory compliance.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Willingness to travel internationally.
