Class 1  (Trunking Work)

Overview

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Class 1 (C+E) Driver to join our logistics team, specialising in trunking work.

This role involves transporting goods between depots to depot,

Key Responsibilities

Operate Class 1 (C+E) on trunking routes

Carry out pre-journey vehicle and trailer checks, including load security

Safely secure and transport loads using curtain sider trailers

Complete trunking runs between distribution centres

Maintain accurate delivery paperwork and records

Communicate with the transport office regarding any delays or issues

Comply with all driving laws, WTD, and company procedures

Skills & Requirements

Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence.

Valid Driver CPC qualification.

Valid Digital Tachograph Card.

Minimum of 12 months’ Class 1 driving experience.

Good understanding of UK driver hours and transport compliance regulations.

Strong reliability, punctuality, and time-management skills.

Ability to work independently and professionally.

Insurance Requirements

Minimum 12 months’ Class 1 experience.

No DR10 or IN10 convictions.

Maximum of 6 penalty points (no major endorsements).
