HGV 2 rRefuse Driver

We are looking for a number of HGV 2 drivers looking for ongoing work, to work on behalf of Bradford City Council and drive themselves and a small crew of Loading Operatives around local routes collecting the refuse and recycling.

Start date for successful candidates is planned for 7th September 2026.

Shifts

• Tuesday to Friday
• 07:00 – 12:00 (30 minute break) 12:30 – 16:45

Pay

• £14.59 – £16.08 per hour

Duties;

• Operating refuse vehicle and levers (training given)
• Safe driving round local routes
• Transporting loaders to their routes and around them
• Helping to load if absolutely necessary when required
