HGV Class 2 Driver

HGV Class 2 Driver – Lutterworth
£16.00 to £21.33 hour based on Overtime premiums.

 

Pertemps are currently recruiting for an excellent opportunity for HGV Class 2 Drivers on behalf of one of the largest suppliers of office consumables nationally based in Lutterworth.


This is a role with regular shifts delivering to retail premises and other depots on a regular Monday to Friday shift pattern. The work would include multi drop deliveries and occasional handball will be expected off a tail lift vehicle.
 

This will be a role delivering to stores across the country and it could be 3-8 drops per day


The Role:

• Local or Distance deliveries to retail premises and other depots.
  
  
• 3-8 drops or on a daily basis
  
  
• Start times on days between 04:00 to 06:00hr starts
  
  
• Small amounts of handball is expected
  
  
• Regular shift pattern of Monday to Friday 
  
  
• Ensuring timely and professional deliveries to customers
  
  
• Completing all relevant paperwork and vehicle checks
  
  

 

Pay Rates:

• £16.00 per hour with an overtime premium of time plus one third for all hours after 9 hours per shift, this is paid at £21.33 per hour.
  
  

Requirements:

• Valid HGV Class 2 licence
  
  
• Valid CPC and Digi Card
  
  
• Minimum 12 months Class 2 driving experience required
  
  
• Previous multi drop or store delivery work is preferred 
  
  
• Comfortable with paperwork which will be completed upon on arrival to the site on your first day.
  
  
• Good customer service skills and reliability
